Proud Parent of Dr Ummul Layth

After all the hard work, doa and tawakkal, our daughter is now a doctor. A journey ends, a new journey begins - that of serving Allah to help mankind. May Allah help you in carrying out your responsibility and your mission as dai ilallah.

Look Mum, No..... Tyres!

This morning, all the tyres on Ahmad's car were gone! Stolen last night. The thieves were obviously after the sports rims because they could fetch a good second hand price. Ahmad was furious! We told him to be patient and recite innalillahi wainna ilaihi raajiun! Anyway, there is nothing much we can do about it because there isn't anywhere else to park except outside and the car will be vulnerable to theft all the time. Inshallah, l'm going to replace the tyres with secondhand tyres and normal rim so the probability that they would be stolen again is less. It was a new experience for us and we should be thankful to Allah for not having more serious loss. Many people even lost their lives for some very petty theft. Only last few weeks 2 women died in a ragut incident and the money in the stolen bag was only a few dollars!
